Women in Procurement: Resilient By Design

Bringing together Women in Procurement for a day of keynotes, panels and an Empowerment Masterclass. Discover strategies, innovations and leadership insights that are truly resilient by design, while connecting with peers shaping the future of procurement.

The event also supports Leo’s Angels, a charity transforming epilepsy outcomes through technology and community collaboration. 

Agenda 

The day opens with a keynote from Dr Madeleine Joubert (Transformation Director, BDO UK) on “Resilience by Design: Leadership Stories for Women” followed by an Empowerment Masterclass with Lucia Albanese (Founder, EmpowHer Education).

The afternoon features the Stories of Resilience panel chaired by Amy McDonnell (Santander) with Karen Moorhouse (London Stadium), Grace Okafor (The Church of England), Julie Fehr (SSE PLC) and Laura Daniel (First Rail Holdings). The Women Entrepreneurs panel, chaired by Emma O’Brien (Embridge Consulting & Leo’s Angels), brings together Veronica Celis Vergara (Valumia), Lemon Fuller (Lemonade Dolls), Sam Rudland (The Essential Agency), Kuntal Fisher (MKF Capital) and Valeria Vahorovska (Stealth FinTech Startup).

Later, Veronika Strausova (Partner, Procurement & Commercial, Baringa) delivers a keynote followed by the Elevate to Excellence panel chaired by Emma Loyden (Santander) with Saffron Demel-Espeute (Santander), Courtney Rowlands (AllPoints Fibre Networks) and Emma Giles (Allianz UK).

The event concludes with the CPO Q&A panel chaired by Jarrod Glover (Santander) joined by Pia Larsen (Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust), Claire Webber (Coventry Building Society and The Co-operative Bank) and Victoria Cope (UK Ministry of Defence).
